Alex Illingworth, co-fund manager of the Artemis Global Select Fund talks about the unique thematic approach used to screen stocks in his portfolio and how he is finding enduring growth opportunities in a persistent low growth environment.
He examines what parts of the global equity market are attractive and not, how Artemis consider a complex geopolitical environment and what factors have and haven't worked in the portfolio over the last 12 months.
Alex also explains the commitment to a real-return objective and how a naturally defensive bias in the portfolio reduces comparative draw-downs.
Alex is speaking with Jake Moeller, Head of Lipper UK & Ireland Research in London on April 19, 2017.
